Brief History

Since 1993, Rj & Cae’s Home Baked Cakes has been making quality baked goods with recipes created from scratch.

We began just as a hobby of its founder Remedios “Remy” Acuram. Since then, we’ve been working hard, perfecting and refining those recipes to get them just the way you like them.

Beginning inside our humble kitchen in our local area of Daang Dalig in Kawit, Cavite. The first order from Remy’s friend was placed, a Birthday Cake was created in January 1993. Our business started quickly through word of mouth from neighbors and relatives. From getting two orders in a month, more orders started to pour in on a daily basis.

With its continued success, Remy introduced her own Puto Cake recipe in the year 2000. Puto Cake – a steamed rice muffin is a popular dessert or snack in the country. She created a twist in her recipe to enhance and combine the traditional process of Puto and Cake making. It was an instant hit with our customers and today, it is the most sought after product at RJ and Cae’s Home Baked Cakes.

Since then, we’ve grown and have positioned ourselves to be one of the most stable and popular homemade baked goods in Kawit, Cavite.

To this day, Rj & Cae’s still continues to carry forth traditional recipes that are packed with heritage and now have some added years of perfection.
